By purchasing a membership for the 2025 season, I, the member, guest, or parent/legal guardian of a minor participant, acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions as a requirement for participating in and/or using the facilities, programs, and activities of Hollin Meadows Swim and Tennis Club (“the Club”).

Assumption of Risk
I understand and acknowledge that participation in recreational activities, including but not limited to swimming, tennis, social events, training sessions, and general use of the Club facilities, involves inherent risks of injury or illness. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risk of bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage incurred by myself, my child(ren), and/or family members while on Club property or participating in Club-related activities, whether as a member or guest.

Waiver and Release
I hereby release and discharge Hollin Meadows Swim and Tennis Club, including its directors, officers, agents, employees, coaches, contractors, and volunteers (the “Released Parties”), from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, illness (including communicable diseases such as COVID-19), or death that may be sustained by me, my child(ren), or other family members, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, while participating in Club activities or using Club facilities.

Indemnification
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with the participation of myself, my child(ren), or family members in Club activities or use of the Club’s facilities.

Health and Safety Compliance
I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and health and safety protocols established by the Hollin Meadows Swim and Tennis Club. I understand that failure to comply may result in revocation of membership or guest privileges.

Insurance and Documentation Requirement
I acknowledge and agree that the Club must maintain a valid Waiver and Release agreements for HMSTC full and honorary members and their guests, as required by its general liability insurance provider. For minors (under 18 years of age), a parent or legal guardian must agree to this waiver on the child’s behalf. I understand that agreement to this waiver and release is a part of HMSTC membership purchase. Full members, honorary members, and guests of members release the Club and its leadership from any and all liability.
